Version 1.0.33

Build 199

  • Sending the app to the background or into split screen no longer hides your photo, and screenshots work everywhere again.
  • The screen behind the notification permission dialog stays visible while a tool runs.
  • A job that could not finish now says why in Work Center (for example "No clear subject was found").
  • Continuing an unfinished edit opens the photo on the Light tool instead of under crop handles.
  • Remove background shows transparent areas on a checkerboard instead of black.
  • The effect strip keeps its shape: tiles no longer stretch and the first one is not under the drag handle.
  • Save starts with a long-edge limit selected, and the layer list says what will appear there.
  • Batch edit opens with a proper empty state, and every tool uses one name across the wheel, Work Center and the compatibility page.
  • Files saved to the gallery are named readably: omniapixels_tool_date_time.ext.
  • At large system text the editor top bar no longer splits words.

Version 1.0.32

Build 198

  • Long-running tools (Restore, Upscale, Remove background) no longer get the app killed on a busy phone; background protection is really in place before work starts.
  • When Upscale or Expand refuses a photo you see one correct reason; the second "unreadable" message is gone.
  • Remove background: a file over 24 MB is refused out loud, not silently; the screen no longer goes dark behind our own permission prompt.
  • Wheel labels stay readable at large system text sizes and no longer spill into the neighbouring icon.
  • Consent screen: a short summary and read-to-the-end; the Privacy Policy (rev. 10) now discloses Remote Config, you will be asked to accept once more.
  • Settings gained "Reset collected data"; with reporting on, it starts over under a fresh identity.
  • You can report a problem straight from the What’s new sheet.
  • If a tool misbehaves on phones it can be switched off remotely without waiting for an update; it stays on the wheel and says so when tapped.

Version 1.0.31

Build 197

  • After an update, what’s new is shown once in this sheet; the full list lives in Settings > What’s new.
  • Error and usage reports share one switch: crash records, which tools you use and how long steps take are sent automatically; never your photos, file names or text. Turn it off in Settings.
  • The Privacy Policy (rev. 9) and Terms of Use (rev. 4) were updated accordingly; you will be asked to accept once more.
  • The step trail attached to crash reports now carries real stage names.

Version 1.0.30

Build 196

  • Editing sliders now respond right away: colour, detail and retouch work runs on all of the phone’s cores.
  • Whites, Blacks, Detail, Structure and Clarity now make a visible difference at full travel; the Crop screen keeps colour edits visible.
  • The diagnostics report names the real cause of preview failures and times the preview decode separately.

Version 1.0.29

Build 195

  • The guide now starts by itself on first launch; if you skip it, replay it from Settings.
  • Crash and error reports are now sent automatically; they contain no photos. Turn them off under Settings > Error reports.
  • Usage and performance measurement stay off in this version; their switches are not shown.
  • The Privacy Policy and Terms were updated accordingly and ask for acceptance once more.

Version 1.0.28

Build 194

  • Fixed the home screen warning about tools that are not offered in this release.
  • Export size labels now explain that the selected value limits the longest edge rather than enlarging the photo.
  • Includes the step-by-step guide, clearer tool names and previous crop improvements.

Version 1.0.27

Build 193

  • The guide shows tools on their actual screens, step by step. Replay it anytime from Settings.
  • Tool names and editing buttons are clearer, with simpler saving and help instructions.
  • Improved cropping, zoom and aspect ratios. When saving is blocked, recovery options appear on the same screen.
  • Clearer messages and retry options for large or unreadable photos.
  • Check for Google Play updates from Settings.

Version 1.0.26

Build 192

  • When a tool is unavailable, the home screen now says why: still preparing, or not supported on this device.
  • Tool names on the wheel are larger and easier to read.
  • When Save is unavailable, the reason and a one-tap fix appear right next to it.
  • Crop keeps your zoom and position when you change the ratio or undo. Added 9:16, 3:4 and 4:3.
  • Very large files are declined politely before opening; the app no longer stalls.

Version 1.0.25

Build 191

  • Read privacy, terms, refunds, support and regional rights without an internet connection.
  • Accept the terms on first launch or decline and reconsider later.
  • Automatic usage, error and performance reporting are off in this version.
  • Settings and device support descriptions have been updated.

Version 1.0.24

Build 190

  • Leave a running Upscale and follow its progress in Work Center.
  • Upscale updates its percentage as image sections finish processing.
  • Fixed a dimension restriction that prevented exact 2× output for large camera photos; device memory and storage checks remain.
  • Work Center places the most recently completed work first.
  • Object Removal is temporarily unavailable; the home tools close the empty gaps.

Version 1.0.23

Build 189

  • Restore processes scene detail and faces, then improves tonal balance when needed.
  • Follow Restore’s elapsed time and current stage in Work Center.
  • Expand is temporarily unavailable. Previously saved results are kept.

Version 1.0.21

Build 187

  • Leave a running tool and follow its work in Work Center. Going back does not cancel the operation.
  • Restore shows processed tiles and the output preparation stage. Completed results are kept in Work Center.
  • HEIF camera photos retain their original dimensions in Remove Background and Restore.
  • Fixed transparency being lost while editing and saving PNG images.
  • The save screen shows the cropped output size correctly. When a smaller output is needed, you choose its size; your original stays unchanged.

Version 1.0.20

Build 186

  • Fixed an error that prevented tools from opening HEIF camera photos supported by the phone.
  • Opening camera photos preserves the orientation recorded in the file.
  • Remove Background and Restore can open large photos as a working copy after you accept the displayed size. Your original stays unchanged.

Version 1.0.19

Build 185

  • When a required model is missing, opening its tool offers a download. You can follow progress, cancel, or retry.
  • Declining a required download preserves your photo and does not start processing.

Version 1.0.18

Build 184

  • The app stays in portrait when you rotate your phone.

Version 1.0.17

Build 183

  • Color and brush setting sliders now use the same end spacing and continuous tracks as the other controls.
  • The editor uses the available screen width for photos in landscape.

Version 1.0.16

Build 182

  • Fixed an upscale error that rejected processing settings on some phones.
  • When AI upscaling cannot finish, the fallback can now start with a valid output file. The source photo remains unchanged.

Version 1.0.15

Build 181

  • Opening a tool from Home starts a new photo selection. Canceling the selection does not reopen the previous photo.
  • You can still open previous results yourself from the Work Center.
  • Backdrop is now called Remove background.
  • Background removal checks available memory again before processing. Canceled exports no longer save after cancellation.

Version 1.0.14

Build 180

  • Light now has a tone curve and levels, and the curve can be pulled separately for shadows, midtones and highlights.
  • Colour now has selective HSL. Pick a target hue and change only that colour's hue, saturation and lightness; the rest of the photo stays as it was.
  • Colour balance arrived too, separately for shadows, midtones and highlights.
  • All twelve were already in the engine and simply had no screen. This release puts them where they belong.

Version 1.0.13

Build 179

  • Restore no longer works on a shrunken copy. It used to run on at most 2048 pixels, so on a large photo the result came back at that size. The limit now follows the free memory your phone actually has.
  • Restore results are less pixelated. Most of the picture was being thrown away while the result was scaled down; it now comes down in steps and no pixel is skipped. Upscale at 2x had the same fault.
  • The preview shown while Upscale runs is sharper. What you see is no longer a small thumbnail stretched across the screen.
  • Restore takes longer now because it works at full size. If the wait is too long, say so and the limit gets measured and lowered.

Version 1.0.12

Build 178

  • Upscale is no longer one photo at a time. You can add several photos to a queue, they run one after another, and the header counts how many have finished.
  • Every queue row shows the file name, the size going in and the size coming out. You can drop a photo from the queue.
  • If one photo fails the queue keeps going, and at the end you can retry just the ones that failed.
  • Each finished photo can be saved, shared, or opened in the editor on its own.

Version 1.0.11

Build 177

  • On the Upscale result screen half the photo sat behind the panel with a large empty band above it. The photo no longer runs under the panel.
  • Two labels on that screen were drawn on top of each other: "Sonuç" on the left and "Sonrasında" on the right. It now reads Before and After.
  • The progress bar for Upscale and Restore really moves. The photo is processed one tile at a time and the tiles are what is counted, in the app and in the notification panel alike.

Version 1.0.10

Build 176

  • The handle you drag in Relight now actually places the light there. What is near it brightens; what is far stays as it was.
  • The height slider sets how high the light sits, and softness sets how far it reaches.
  • Relight refused some photos saying the depth map did not match. The map was right and the check was wrong.

Version 1.0.9

Build 175

  • Photos that would not open now get a second try. When the app's own reader cannot decode a file it asks Android's reader instead. Batch, Collage, Expand and Upscale all use it.

Version 1.0.8

Build 174

  • Screenshots work again, and the app no longer comes up black in a floating window or in split screen.
  • Restore and Upscale are faster: the photo is cut into fewer pieces, roughly half as many runs on a strong phone.
  • The preview on the Upscale screen is no longer blurry.
  • When a photo cannot be read, the reason is written down.

Version 1.0.7

Build 173

  • Going back during a job now asks first. The arrow in the screen header used to throw the work away without a word.
  • When a photo cannot be read, the reason is now recorded. You can see it under Settings > Diagnostics.

Version 1.0.6

Build 172

  • Lighting now lives inside the editor. You place light sources on the photo and set their direction, colour and softness yourself.
  • You can switch apps while a long job runs. It keeps going, shows in your notifications, and tells you when it is done.
  • The app is 55 MB smaller.

Version 1.0.5

Build 171

  • Your phone now measures itself, and runs AI jobs on the AI chip whenever that is genuinely faster there.
  • Speed never costs image quality. If the measured result is not identical, the phone stays on the path it was already using.
  • If the AI chip stalls mid-job your photo no longer fails. It just takes a little longer.

Version 1.0.4

Build 170

  • The screen no longer switches off while a long job is running.
  • Going back during a job now asks before stopping it.
  • Long jobs like Restore show how many seconds have passed.
  • If the app crashes, a technical error record is sent on its own. Your photo is not sent, and you can turn this off in Settings.

Version 1.0.3

Build 169

  • When a photo you picked does not open and the previous one stays on screen, the reason is now written into Settings > Diagnostics.

Version 1.0.2

Build 168

  • Every release now carries its own version number. Six releases from b162 to b167 all read "1.0.1"; from here it advances 1.0.2, 1.0.3.

Version 1.0.1

Build 167

  • Erase, background removal, expand and upscale work again. The compatibility test heated the phone and then switched off the very tools it had measured; that measurement no longer blocks a tool.
  • No temperature reading can take a tool away any more. The tools run even when the phone reports warm; they only say they may be slower.
  • "Measured while warm" and "the device is warm now" are shown as the separate things they are.

Version 1.0.1

Build 166

  • The "Test now" button on Device & AI Support now works while the phone is warm. It used to be pressable and do nothing.
  • Release notes are kept per release now, dated and collapsible, so older versions no longer disappear.

Version 1.0.1

Build 165

  • AI tools now switch off only when the phone is genuinely overheating. A merely warm phone used to lose all four; now they just run slower.
  • When a tool is unavailable its card says why: heat, memory, a missing model, or simply not tested yet.
  • The device card now shows the app memory headroom.

Version 1.0.1

Build 164

  • Settings > Device & AI Support added: it shows whether each AI tool is ready or limited on this phone, which model it uses, and what your device reports.
  • The app can test your device and tune the AI tools to it. The test is optional, never uses your photos, sends nothing to the internet, and can be stopped at any time.
  • A tool your phone cannot handle no longer looks ready and then fails mid-run; if there is not enough memory it arrives switched off.
  • The Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use are now accepted separately at first launch, and both are read inside the app without a network.

Version 1.0.1

Build 163

  • Cropping now has weight: the handle you hold grows and glows, edges snap to the photo and the thirds lines, and the phone taps back.
  • Double tap the photo to jump to its real pixel size; the zoom ratio appears on screen. Pinch zoom is unchanged.
  • Hold the compare button to see the original, release to return to the edited photo.
  • The wheel and Settings answer touch with haptic feedback.
  • Turkish text left in the editor on English phones is now translated.

Version 1.0.1

Build 162

  • Feedback screen added: Settings > Send feedback. Pick a topic, write, and it opens in your mail app. No photo is attached.
  • Language is now chosen from a list instead of cycling on each tap.
  • Release notes are shown version by version.
  • Settings can be returned to their defaults in one step.

Version 1.0.0

Build 145

  • A previously opened photo no longer comes back after a restart.
  • Upscale now accepts the large photos a phone camera actually takes.
  • HEIC and WebP photos open.
  • Batch and Collage start a new job each time they are opened.
  • Fixed a crash during Upscale on some phones.
